Woof, my name is Zelda. I’m an Old Tyme Bulldog. I’ve come to Animals in Distress with a really bad leg that’s been hurting me a lot – the vets here have done X-rays and discovered that I have a torn cruciate ligament that needs to be repaired. I’m having an operation to fix this really soon! I can’t wait till my leg is better and I’ll be able to run and play again, like before! It’s a really expensive operation that will cost Animals in Distress £1900. But it has to be done – I am only 3 and still have lots of running left to do in my life!
We know that it’s Christmas and money is so tight at this time of year – especially this year. And you have all been so wonderful and kind to us this year, your generosity has really kept us afloat at a time when we could have easily gone under. We will be forever grateful to you for all you have done and we didn’t want to ask for more, especially at Christmas.
But the humans here have said that my operation will go ahead regardless of anything. So we would just like to ask – if there is anyone who can spare any small amount towards my essential operation, we would be so incredibly grateful. Even £1 can help. And anything at all you could donate would make the world of difference to me.
If you are able to help, you can donate using the button below (please leave in the comment box that your donation is for Zelda)
Thank you so much for your incredible support, as always.
I will let you know how I get on after my operation
Love Zelda
