Lovely little Yorkshire Terrier Cookie came to our Rescue Centre after her owner sadly became ill. 5 year old Cookie is the sweetest girl and an amazing little dog – she is tiny, weighing only 2.5Kg! When Cookie first arrived at our Rescue Centre unfortunately we noticed straight away that she was showing signs of urinary problems and took her to our vet. Urine samples were taken and a course of antibiotics started which did not appear to help, and then on re-examination our vet felt a large stone in Cookie’s bladder.
Cookie is now booked in to have an X-ray and stone-removal surgery, which will take place next week. Until that can take place, Cookie is being kept comfortable.
Our vets have given us a quote of £1,296 for the X-ray and operation, as long as the surgery and recovery goes to plan. We wondered if any of our kind supporters could help us to help Cookie by making a small donation towards the costs of her surgery? Any small amount you can give would make such a big difference and we would be so grateful for your support. You can donate by using the form below.
Thank you so, so much for your amazing support as always! We will keep you updated on all of Cookie’s progress.
