Covid-19 update Jan 21

While we are in national lockdown, in accordance with CFSG guidance the Rescue Centre remains closed to the public but we can still rehome animals in a limited capacity.

Applications for animals are still welcome and we will contact the successful applicants to discuss and facilitate the rehoming where this is possible. If you are interested in rehoming an animal, please apply by filling out the online form on the animal’s individual page on our website.

We can still take animals in, but only in certain circumstances. If you have an animal that needs to be rehomed please call us on 01803 812121 and we will be happy to discuss your situation with you and see if we can help. Please leave a message if we don’t answer the phone and we will call you back ASAP or alternatively email info@animalsindistress.uk.com.

If you have applied for an animal we respectfully ask that you please don’t call the Rescue Centre to follow it up, as we are receiving a high volume of calls, have limited staff working at this time and we need to keep our phone lines open for emergencies.

We are currently receiving an unprecedented number of applications for every animal and we are not able to respond to every one. If you do not hear back from us within a fortnight of your application, it means that you have not been successful on this occasion. Please be assured that this will most likely be due to the number of applications received rather than your suitability / match for that animal.

Thank you for your understanding and patience.
