Choosing to commemorate the life of someone special by donating to a charity is such an important moment, and one that we are truly grateful for.
Every donation made in memory of a loved one is a lasting tribute, helping Animals in Distress care for and find forever homes for hundreds of dogs, cats, rabbits and guinea pigs every year. By taking this positive step you will be helping animals know what it means to be truly loved.
How to gift in memory
A unique and meaningful way to giving a gift in memory is for family, friends and colleagues to hold a collection at a funeral, often in lieu of flowers.
Ways to hold a collection at a funeral
Your Funeral Director will help you with arrangements to collect donations on the day of the funeral. This is normally done via cash or cheque.
Alternatively, Animals in Distress can supply envelopes for you which also have the option for people to Gift Aid on them. This means that for every £1 donated we can claim a further 25p from the Government at no cost to the donor. Simply email info@animalsindistress.uk.com and we will arrange for the envelopes to be posted or delivered to you.
Donating online
If you’d prefer to donate online, you can do this by setting up an online donation page through JustGiving and sending the link in advance, or including it in the funeral programme for people to donate to afterwards. Alternatively you can donate using the form below.
Thank you so much for your support.
