Evening opening at the rescue centre

A heroic Staffordshire Bull Terrier who saved his family’s lives during a terrible house fire has been presented with the “Animals’ George Cross”.

News from the kennels
Staff at Animals in distress have seen huge improvements in the wellbeing of the dogs in their care following restricted public access to the kennels.
New opening times for cattery

Day-old kittens abandoned at service station
At the end of August, a litter of day-old kittens were found dumped in a box containing nothing but tissue paper at Taunton Deane Service Station.
Diesel the hero dog to the rescue
Jordan and the rest of the Ash family were all sleeping peacefully at their home in Dartmouth, when their pet dog Diesel alerted them that something was wrong.
Changes to kennel access at Animals in Distress
Animals in Distress have restricted public access to the kennels for the sake of the dogs’ well-being, and in line with other leading animal charities.
