Volunteers urgently needed

We are always looking for volunteers to join our friendly retail teams in our charity shops across Torbay and South Devon. We could not run our shops without the dedicated help of all our fantastic volunteers.

At the moment we urgently need volunteers to help out in our Newton Abbot Shop. If you could spare a couple of hours during the week or on a Saturday, please call Fiona Dyke, Shop Manager on 01626 369855, or Louise Moss on 01803 812121.

If you like meeting people and would like to learn new skills, make new friends and build your CV and confidence, then please consider volunteering for a few hours a week in one of our shops. You would be part of our friendly team of fun and professional volunteers, and you would be helping the animals in our care at the same time. We currently have volunteering opportunities available in all of our shops, and we especially need more help on Saturdays.

The work is varied and can include:

  • serving customers
  • working on a till
  • creating window displays
  • sorting, sizing and displaying stock

We are also interested in the skills you can bring, such as knowledge about merchandising, or collectables.

If you would like to help at any of our shops, either pop in to your local shop and enquire, or call the Rescue Centre on 01803 812121 and ask for Louise Moss.
