Pandora update

We’d all like to say a really big thank you to everyone who has kindly donated to Pandora’s appeal to help with her emergency surgery. Thanks to your amazing generosity we have raised an incredible £1,001 which has covered a large portion of the costs (exact figures will be published at a later date when all Pandora’s treatment is complete), and we can’t thank you enough for your support. We are really blown away by your kindness, especially in these times that are so hard for everyone.

When 6 month old Pandora first arrived she was in a bad state – her missing eye was open and discharging, she was snuffling badly and had ear mites, blocked ears and an umbilical hernia.

Pandora is doing so well now. She had her surgery for her eye, ears and umbilical hernia and has been recovering very nicely at the Rescue Centre. Thankfully no major complications were found with her missing eye and it has been closed up. Her ears are better and she is being treated for her respiratory infection which has greatly improved.

Pandora is a very happy girl, a real sweetie who adores all humans and  just wants cuddles and love. She has also got a favourite toy, her red mouse, which she plays with all the time and takes everywhere with her (see video below).

Pandora will have her stitches out in the next few days and then we will look at finding a lovely new home for her, along with red mouse who will have to go home with her too!

Thank you so much for all your incredible support, from Pandora and from everyone here. Thanks to your kindness, Pandora has a very happy life ahead of her now.
