French Bulldog BOASThe Spring / Summer edition of the Animals in Distress magazine is out now!

You can read it online by clicking here or you can pick up a copy at any of our shops across South Devon.

If you receive your copy by post it will be with you shortly!

In this issue you can read the story of Bella, the French Bulldog who arrived at our Rescue Centre suffering from Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome (BOAS) as well as a number of other conditions, and in need of surgery costing over £3,000. Thanks to your amazing support and kindness, while she has been in our care Bella has been able to have the life-changing surgery she so desperately needed. She now has a much brighter and happier future ahead and is looking for a lovely new home. See page 8 for more details!

This issue also highlights some of the health problems faced by brachycephalic (flat-faced) pets – see page 13 for more information about this important welfare issue.

In your magazine you can also read about some of the other animals that our wonderful vet team at the Rescue Centre have been able to help this year, as well as many other heart-warming rehoming stories of pets who, thanks to your wonderful support, have gone on to find lovely new forever homes.

We hope you enjoy reading the magazine.
