Opening times

Reception opening hours

Our Reception is open every day (Monday – Sunday) from 10am till 4pm for deliveries and dropping off donations.

Animal viewing

For welfare reasons our animal departments are closed for general public access and all animal adoptions and rehoming are by appointment.

If you are looking to adopt an animal from us, please apply via our website and our animal rehoming teams will get back to you if your application is successful. You will then be invited to come in and meet the animal in question (usually for a series of meetings) before making your final decision. A home-check and assessment interview will also take place. There is no limit to the number of animals you can apply for and meet.

Handing over an animal

If you need to hand over an animal because you can no longer care for them, please call us on 01803 812121 or email info@animalsindistress.uk.com.

Our Rescue Centre is situated just off the A381 between Totnes and Newton Abbot.
